The house is on the straight between Dunfanaghy and Portnablagh and a short walk takes you to Portnablagh pier. It is a 5 minutes drive to Ards Forest Park, Horn Head drive, and Marble Hill beach. Glenveagh National Park and Errigal mountain are a 20 min drive away. No.5 The Dunes has a prime location close to Dunfanaghy and overlooks the golf course and Killahoey beach.
The property is located along the coast road between Dunfanaghy and Portnablagh – two vibrant seaside villages. This coast road is part of Irelands Wild Atlantic Way driving route. Dunfanaghy is dotted with a stunning blue flag and features many fine restaurants and pubs. The holiday home itself is close to three beaches that run for miles. Falcarragh is located in North West Donegal Gaeltacht. Both villages have golf courses and superb beaches. In addition, there are a host of activities available in this locality including scuba-diving, surfing, fishing and hill walking.

Dunfanaghy
Dunfanaghy is blessed with a wonderfully scenic setting. The holiday resort is situated on the western shores of Sheephaven Bay with the dramatic Horn Head Peninsula lying just to the north. The iconic Muckish Mountain is ever-present in the background. There are three small fishing lakes in the immediate vicinity of the village while Ards Forest Park is just 7km away. The superb Tramore Strand is a totally unspoilt beach on the western side of Horn Head – an ideal place for a bracing walk. Indeed the entire region around Dunfanaghy is a walker’s paradise with a great variety of coastal, mountain and forest walking trails. Dunfanaghy also lies along the route of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
